►  Sam: He loves him with all his heart. Easily the most important person in his life at any given time. He will believe Sam’s word over anyone else’s. 
►  John (deceased): He was frustrated with him, but he loved him nonetheless. He hated him for letting Sam go off to Stanford without consulting him.
►  Mary (deceased): His memory of her is fading, but he’s trying to hold onto it. He loved her so much that it hurts to think about her.
